Stephen West’s Flagstone

knitFlagstone was on my knitting bucket list for quite some time after I saw Stephen West’s version in West Knits Book 1.  Stephen is one of my favorite handknit designers and if I live long enough, I just may knit all of his designs.  I chose Fiberphile Super Squished Worsted for this pattern in the fall colorways of Fields of Gold, Pumpkin Spice and Sable.  This yarn was a dream to knit with and the colors were dyed to perfection.  Garter stitch all the way through [dream!], a little creative seaming and this wrap was finished!

I can’t wait to wrap you around my neck.

Fiberphile yarn - love the subtle color variations

All that garter stitch goodness.  I love the subtle variation in the dyed yarn.  I think what I really want to do is just stare at it.  [Did I just type that?]

Mina Fies - sportin' the handknit. The model, Mrs. Mina Fies, is my sister’s bestie from way back.  3rd grade kinda back.

Could Mrs. Fies be more photogenic?  Is that humanly possible?
